About SHPOUL
Sound Humanitarian, Participatory and Organizational Uplift (SHPOUL) is a nationally recognized Afghan NGO established in 2007 with a mission to empower vulnerable communities through participatory, multi-sectoral programs that promote peace, equity, and resilience. Operating in several provinces, including Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan, Herat, Balkh, Kabul, and Laghman, SHPOUL implements impactful humanitarian and development interventions that prioritize dignity, inclusivity, and local ownership. Our assistance targets women, children, persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and crisis-affected host communities.
